Les Kaye started Zen practice in 1966 with Suzuki-roshi. He attended a three month practice period at Tassajara in 1970 and was ordained by roshi in 1971. He was Shuso (head monk) at Tassjara practice period in 1973. Les received Dharma transmission from Hoitsu Suzuki-roshi in 1985. His publications include "Zen at Work" (1996), "Joyously Through the Days" (2011), and "A Search for Something Greater " (2018). He is currently the abbot at Kannon Do in Mountain View, CA.
