History of the SZBA

The SZBA was formed in 1996, in relation to the Japanese Sotoshu but autonomous. Interest grew after the organization reformed in 2001-2002. Board members Keido Les Kaye, Eido Carney, Zoketsu Norman Fischer, Misha Merrill, Myogen Stucky, and Jisho Warner revised the bylaws, published a roster of members, created a website and held a National Conference.
