Eido Frances Carney is a transmitted teacher in the lineage of Niho Tetsumei Roshi of Entsuji, Japan, Ryokan's training temple. Olympia Zen Center has a replica of Gogo-an, Ryokan's hut, on its grounds, available for personal retreats. OZC is influenced by the teachings of Ryokan, emphasizes practice in the arts, daily Zazen, sesshin, residential practice, and personal retreats. OZC is the home of Temple Ground Press. Eido also promotes the teachings of Dogen Zenji as well as the development of Buddhist fiction, poetry, and painting.
