Dario Doshin Girolami received the Dharma Transmission from Eijun Linda Cutts , abbess of the San Francisco Zen Center and is a teacher recognized by the Japanese Sotoshu.

He began practicing in 1986 and was ordained a Zen monk by Zenkei Blanche Hartmann at the San Francisco Zen Center - founded by Shunryu Suzuki Roshi .

Zenshinji-Tassajara , Hosshinji-City Center, Soryu-ji-Green Gulch. These are the monasteries frequented by Doshin to complete the training of monk and teacher.

In addition to graduating in Religions and Philosophies of India and the Far East with Corrado Pensa at the La Sapienza University of Rome, he studied in the wake of Zen masters Tenshin Roshi - Reb Anderson, Thich Nhat Hanh and Maezumi Roshi, and received the initiation to Avalokiteshvara by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Former contract professor of Zen at the John Cabot University in Rome, he holds seminars at the Faculty of Psychology of Sapienza, and also holds regular meditation courses at the Rebibbia prison in Rome

He is the author of the book: The Zen Soto and the Koans - The Way of the Presence of the Spirit .
