Our purpose is to offer a Zen Temple in Portland that serves as a vibrant home for members of the Zen Community of Oregon and the larger community. We envision this temple as a place of stillness, peace and refuge in a busy urban environment. In this temple we intend to practice and share Buddhist teachings and embody the qualities of unflagging optimism, compassion and courage. Heart of Wisdom is an arm of the Zen Community of Oregon.
