Sosan Theresa Flynn is the Guiding Teacher of Clouds in Water Zen Center, where she has been practicing since its incorporation in 1994. She was ordained as a Soto Zen Buddhist priest by Dosho Port in 1997, practiced with several teachers including Byakuren Judith Ragir, and received dharma transmission from Joen Snyder O’Neal in 2012. Sosan has a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. She worked in both community mental health and staff training before coming to work at Clouds in Water in 1998, first in administration and later as a teacher.
